BACKGROUND:
The Government of India brought out a revised Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) for Vocationalisation of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (VSHSE) by Ministry of Education to integrate employability education into School Education in September 2011.

The scheme is operated within the NSQF (National Skill Qualification Framework), which establishes a system of clear education pathways from school to higher education while providing certification of vocational skills.
[i] Project Approval Board (PAB), Ministry of Education, Government of India has approved total 213 Government Higher Secondary& High School Level schools to implement the CSS for VSHSE with two (02) trades in each school during the financial year 2021-22 with two years pattern and accordingly Government of Assam will be implementing the scheme from the academic year 2022-23. The list of schools is appended in Annexure -A.
This EOI is intended to shortlist Vocational Training Partners for implementing the following trades in the 213 schools in the State of Assam along with setting up of Lab (wherever required). The list of equipment (sector-wise), will be as per prescribed by Pandit Sunderlal Sharma Central Institute of Vocational Education (PSSCIVE), Bhopal.
N.B. : Lab setup value Rs. 2.50 Lacs (per lab), total 339 labs (trade wise) to be setup in 213 schools. List of Lab items as per PSSCIVE, Bhopal curriculum.
[ii] Along with point [i] this EOI is also intended to shortlist Vocational Training Partners for implementing the following trades of 100 schools in 161 trades in the State of Assam from 1st of April, Which were approved by Project Approval Board (PAB), Ministry of Education, Government of India in the Year-2017-18 with two trades in each school. MoU was signed with the concerned TMPs for a period of four (04) years for implementation of the Vocational Education in those schools.
The agreement term of four (04) years will be completed on 31st March, 2022. The list of these schools is appended in Annexure -B.
N.B.: No lab is required to be set up in these old schools.
