Introduction

Objective

The primary objective is to equip SC/ST women with professional tailoring skills, enabling them to pursue self-employment and sustainable livelihoods. The training is designed to be practical, intensive, and outcome-oriented, ensuring participants gain market-relevant competencies.

Scope of Work

The selected training partner will conduct a structured tailoring training program for 24 women. The course includes:

  • Duration: 45 days (4 hours per day, totaling 180 hours per student)
  • Focus Area: Self-employed tailor training
  • Outcome: Skill development leading to self-employment

Eligibility of Training Partners

  1. Must be registered as a firm with relevant certifications.
  2. Must possess GST registration certificate.
  3. Minimum annual turnover of ₹1 lakh in any one of the last three financial years.
  4. Prior experience in conducting similar training programs of at least ₹0.5 lakhs in value (work order or completion certificate required).
  5. Must not be blacklisted by the Government of Karnataka.

Selection Criteria

  1. Technical Evaluation: Compliance with tender specifications, past performance, and operational capability.
  2. Financial Evaluation: Competitive pricing, cost-effectiveness, and financial stability.
  3. Post-Qualification: Verification of documents and capability assessment.

Empanelment Procedure

  1. Submission of tender online via Karnataka e-procurement portal.
  2. Preliminary examination for completeness and responsiveness.
  3. Detailed evaluation and comparison of tenders.
  4. Post-qualification verification.
  5. Award of contract to the lowest evaluated responsive bidder.

Other Terms and Conditions
