Expression of Interest (EOI) Summary: Empanelment of Training Providers for Endangered Traditional/Regional Job Roles by KSDC
Introduction
The Karnataka Skill Development Corporation (KSDC), the nodal agency for the Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Department (SDEL), Government of Karnataka, has issued an Expression of Interest (EOI). This EOI aims to empanel experienced Training Providers (TPs) to deliver skill training in endangered Traditional and Regional job roles across the state. The initiative, announced in the Karnataka Budget 2025-26, focuses on preserving heritage crafts, promoting GI-tagged products, and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for artisans.

The program emphasizes skill transmission to the next generation, enhancing artisans’ incomes, and increasing the visibility of Karnataka’s cultural heritage in domestic and global markets, rather than focusing solely on wage employment.
