Scope of Work

The selected organization will be responsible for:

  1. Design & Layout: Planning garden layout for optimal plant growth.
  2. Land Development: Ploughing, levelling, bed preparation, and irrigation setup.
  3. Plantation: Procurement and planting of saplings/seeds of fruits, vegetables, and medicinal plants.
  4. Maintenance: Weeding, pruning, organic manure application, pest management for 3 years.
  5. Training & IEC: Conducting awareness programs, workshops, and creating educational material for students and staff.
  6. Monitoring & Reporting: Quarterly progress reports with GPS-based photographs.

Eligibility of Training Partners

  • Govt. Organizations: Must have at least 3 years left before superannuation for the PI.
  • NGOs/Voluntary Organizations: Must demonstrate expertise in horticulture, agriculture, or community-based health/nutrition projects.
  • Academic Background: Teachers/officers with relevant qualifications may act as PI/Co-PI.

Selection Criteria

Proposals will be evaluated based on:

  • Technical competence and past experience in similar projects.
  • Alignment with project objectives and work plan.
  • Capacity to conduct IEC and training activities.
  • Adherence to NMPB CSS guidelines.

Empanelment Procedure

  1. Submit proposal online via Ayush NGO Portal (https://ngo.ayush.gov.in/).
  2. Proposals will be reviewed by NMPB as per scheme guidelines.
  3. Shortlisted organizations will be notified for further processing.
  4. No other mode of submission will be accepted.

Eligible Beneficiaries

  • Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.

Total Target to be Trained

  • Organic cultivation methods must be followed; synthetic chemicals are prohibited.
