Introduction:
1.1 Rajasthan Council of School Education, (hereinafter referred to as “RCScE”) has implemented various projects at the Government Senior Secondary Schools level under the umbrella of ‘Samagra Shiksha’ to provide quality education to the students.
1.2 RCScE is currently implementing Vocational Education Programme in 1087 (70 Schools from F/Y 2014-15, 220 from F/Y2015-16, 380 from F/Y 2016-17, 50 from F/Y 2017-18, 185 from F/Y 2018-19, and 132 new plus 50 Hub & Spoke schools from F/Y 2021-22) Government Senior Secondary Schools.
1.3 RCScE invites Online Open Competitive Bid from qualified entities in the field of “VOCATIONAL EDUCATION PROGRAMME IN GOVERNMENT SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS” for 586 new approved (approved in 2022-23) & 15 schools approved in the FY 2021-22 and 50 Spoke schools under Hub & Spoke model and 18 training centres of OOSC (hereinafter referred as “The Project”).
Broad Scope of Work :
The Government of India brought out a centrally sponsored Scheme of “Vocationalisation of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education” by integrating employability education into School Education in September 2011. The scheme is operated within the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF), which establishes a system of clear educational pathways from school to higher education while providing certification of vocational skills.
The project will be implemented across 586 new approved schools and 50 Spoke schools, and 18 Out of School Children Training Centres (Schools) under Government Senior Secondary schools of Rajasthan, intending to make students employable when they complete senior secondary education.
The schools have already been approved by the MoE. The Project will adopt a new curriculum, course content, and pedagogy, hire and train qualified teachers, introduce the program in schools, and monitor and evaluate its progress as per the guidelines and norms of MoE-GOI. The curricula, teacher handbooks, and student handbooks are being developed by PSSCJVE (PSS Central Institute of Vocational education, Bhopal), based on the relevant Qualification Packs I National Occupational Standards of respective Sector Skill Councils.
The Courses in the following sectors are being introduced in 586 new approved (Approved in 2022-23) & 15 schools approved in the FY 2021-22 ( for selection of 716 & 15 vocational -Trainers). 50 Spoke schools (For the selection of 68 Vocational trainers) & and 18 OOSC training centers (For the selection of 18 Vocational Trainers in the healthcare sector) in Rajasthan.
