1. Background & Need

Samagra Shiksha, Tripura implemented Skill Education projects in 125 schools during 2021-22 and 2022-23 in two phases. Skill Labs have already been established in these schools. The program follows NSQF (National Skill Qualification Framework) compliant curriculum developed by PSSCIVE (Bhopal) and CBSE, aligned with Sector Skill Councils.

2. Scope of Work (Key Responsibilities)

The Training Provider (TP) shall be responsible for:

  1. Manpower Deployment:
    • Provide one full-time Skill Trainer/Teacher per school per sector
    • Preference to previously working trainers
    • Replace resigned trainers within 7 days
    • Deploy State Project Coordinator (1) + Technical Staff (4) in Agartala office
  2. Teaching & Curriculum:
    • Deliver curriculum developed by PSSCIVE/CBSE
    • Complete syllabus as per timeline
    • Conduct theoretical & practical classes as per NSQF guidelines
    • Conduct internal assessment
  3. Infrastructure & Materials:
    • Supply course material (Student & Teacher handbooks)
    • Provide raw materials for practical classes
    • Annual Maintenance Support for existing Skill Lab equipment
    • Supply new Skill Lab equipment in Year 1 and Year 3
    • Provide internet & office expenditure to each school
  4. Student Engagement:
    • Conduct awareness & mobilization of students, parents, teachers
